Pose of the Week: Karandavasana

For many, our focus pose of the week, Karandavasana is one of the hardest poses in Second Series.

 

What is needed for this pose:

-For stability, a firm connection to the lats and the seratus
-Strong shoulders
-Strong core
-Open Hips

Pre-requisties

Must be able to balance in Pincha Mayurasana

Must have an extremely open lotus. You must be able to bring the legs into lotus without using the hands.
